Have some questions for me?

I'm always happy to answer, just get in touch.

However, here are some of the questions I get asked frequently which may help.

  • Does sleep training work for all babies?
Pretty much! Unless there is an underlying medical reason as to why your baby is unable to settle, with patience and practice pretty much all babies can benefit from sleep training! (and their parents too!)
  • Why should I sleep train my baby?
I always tell people don't fix it if it isn't broken. So if you are happy with your current sleep situation, and you don't want to change or improve anything - great! However, if there is something that you'd like to change with regards to your little one's sleep - them I'm your girl!
  • Why is sleep so important for babies?
It's important for us all! But young babies do most of their mental development while asleep. They also have so much stimuli to process in the daytime that sleep is what enables them to deal with it all!
  • My baby just hates sleep, do you help with that?
Sure do! More than likely your baby doesn't hate sleep, they just don't know how good it is when you're well rested. Once we teach them to sleep more often than not they actually LOVE sleep!
  • Do you do Cry It Out?
Cry it out is a commonly used name for extinction. This is where you put your kid in the bed and leave the room until the next morning. This is a commonly used process for sleep training, but no it's not what I do. We support your little as much as they want and need in order to help them learn how to sleep. Some babies want more support and some want less - but we work within the guidelines that they show us! However this doesn't mean that your little one will never cry - there is always some element of protest during a sleep training process.
